freelance designer
Masters graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Art in London studying Vehicle Design. Previously attained a first class Honors Degree in Product Design, a HND in Graphic Design and won the Royal Society of Arts transportation design competition.
While studying at the RCA I was awarded an internship with Daihatsu in Japan. After graduating I worked for Seymour Powell one of UK’s leading Design Consultants, and then moved onto Automotive design for MG Rover.
Upon request from Wolverhampton University I ventured into Product Design lecturing to all level students. Focusing on design and presentation skills, advancing knowledge in the programs taught and giving confidence to the next generation of creatives.
After lecturing I switched fields into Watch design, combining all the knowledge previously gained with my passion for timepieces. First working for Intercity Watch Group an English distributer designing high street fashion labels.
Wanting to advance in the watch industry I approached the leaders in my field Fossil Group, with success on my side I ventured into the next step of my career to fuel my knowledge. Within nine years I worked in Switzerland, Milan, Hong Kong and Dallas for renowned fashion labels as Emporio Armani, Burberry, Michael Kors and Diesel, eventually climbing the ladder to Associate Creative Director.
From this I landed a Design Management role at Movado Group working again with popular brands like Coach, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger and Scuderia Ferrari.
After 15 years in the watch industry I believe it’s now time to focus on individual projects that I can dedicate my experience and creativity to, all my priority and attention now goes into freelancing.
